On Wednesday December 4th, Year 10 pupils took part in a stained glass window workshop. Pupils spent the day learning how to craft using glass and very much enjoyed the experience. In the morning, pupils practised cutting shapes using standard glass and then in the afternoon they worked in small groups to create a stained glass bird using various shapes and coloured glass.

The workshop is one of a number of construction-based topics we hope to cover with our pupils over the coming months, giving them important experience of a variety of potential career routes for them to potentially explore in the future.
