Ski Trip Review 2015

Another ski trip has sadly come to an end.

This past week the pupils have had a fantastic time. They have skied extremely well in some amazingly snowy conditions, socialised, saw the sights of Samoens, including its market and ate an array of great food, thanks Phil!

As always our ski instructors from Zig Zag ski school created a fun, exciting and caring environment for all our pupils to learn in. Our pupils really enjoyed spending time with them and I can honestly say Luigi and Geoff were by far the best instructors our pupils have ever had.

Time to start planning next years trip!

Au Revoir till then and enjoy the pics.

School Closure

In the interests of pupil safety Swanwick School & Sports College is closed today due to adverse weather and travel conditions. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

Ski Trip Update

Bonjour from snowy Samoens.

All the pupils have settled into life at Chalet Moccand including breakfast at 7am. They have been fantastic in their lessons and shown some tremendous progression after only a day and a half worth of tuition. Today most of the pupils will be skiing the Massif area at an altitude of 2000m. This is impressive because our pupils generally only ski this on the last 2 days of their lessons! Everyone is thoroughly enjoying the conditions.  Our first day of skiing we were treated to beautiful blue skies and fresh snow. This morning we have had a fresh falling of about 8cm and are expecting a further 30-60cm over the coming days.

Au revoir for now and enjoy the pictures
