The Local Offer:

The Local Offer provides a subscription-based platform for education, health & social care services across England & the rest of the UK. It serves to increase access to specialist support for parents, carers & professionals on behalf of children & young people with SEN or disability, 0 – 25 years.
Derbyshire Information, Advice and Support Service (DIASS) is the new name for the Parent Partnership Service – click on the image above to view their website. They provide independent information, advice and support to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), as well as their parents and carers. This includes Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, Dyslexia or any other special educational need.
Children in need:
Social care provides a range of specialist and safeguarding services, these services may be provided for a short period of time to help a family in a crisis or as part of a longer term plan of support.
These services can only be provided after one or more of the following social care assessments. Children, young people and their families are encouraged to contribute to the assessment and will always receive a copy of it.
