KS4 Goalball
Updated: Feb 17
On Friday 21st January a selection of Key Stage 4 pupils won the opportunity to take part in a Goalball event in the school hall led by a member of UK ParalympicSport.
Goalball is a game played by two teams who compete to score goals by throwing a ball that emits audible sound when in motion. Players, who may be blind or sighted, are blindfolded during play.
Pupils had a fantastic afternoon and enjoyed trying a brand new sport. They really developed their communication and teamwork skills as they had to be blind folded throughout the experience.
