SSSC “999” Day

On Friday 27th May as part of our Life Skills Curriculum, SSSC created an amazing 999 day.

This day entailed four separate workshops for all pupils to participate in. The workshops were designed to enhance students knowledge on the importance of 999 and our Emergency services. The Fire, Police and St Johns Ambulance services gave up their valuable time to come and work with our lucky students.

Students had amazing opportunities to be in a smoke filled tent, giving them a true understanding of what to do if they were ever in a fire, see a real ambulance and compete in activities to enhance knowledge on our Emergency services.

It was a very special day that highlighted the importance of 999. #gallery-3 { margin: auto; } #gallery-3 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-3 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-3 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
