Assemblies are an important part of school life at SSSC and provide valuable opportunities for pupils to come together as a whole school community. Held at the start of each week, assemblies explore a range of important topics and themes, support our school values and initiatives, and recognise national events and awareness campaigns.

In addition, we hold two Celebration Assemblies each half term. These provide an opportunity to recognise and celebrate pupils' achievements, efforts and positive contributions, whilst also taking inspiration from the successes of others both within school and the wider community.

Through our assembly programme, we aim to support pupils' Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development, promote personal growth and wellbeing, and encourage respect, responsibility and active citizenship.

Please note; Parents have the right to withdraw their child from Religious Education (RE), Collective Worship, or both.
