Derby and Derbyshire C.A.R.E.S. (Children at Risk of Exploitation Service) works with children and young people who are at risk of child exploitation in Derby and across Derbyshire. The Service delivers support and interventions to children and young people to build resilience and aspiration, empowering them to take control of their lives and supporting them to stay safe.

Let’s talk about it Prevent Radicalisation (Prevent):

This is about safeguarding and supporting those vulnerable to radicalisation. Unfortunately, there are negative influences and online groomers, who use the internet, social media and online groomers, who use the internet, social media and online gaming to spread their extreme ideas, which children can be exposed.

Childline is possibly one of the best known, well resourced services to help young people in crisis. They offer support for young people, whatever their worry is to help them make the right decisions. Their tips and techniques, ideas and inspiration, can help young people feel more in control. And they can access support in your own time, at their own pace!
