On Friday 6th and Wednesday 11th of March, KS3 Cognition took part in a Cultural Capital trip to Newark Air Museum as part of their Theme topic of War and Peace. Pupils enjoyed the day developing a deeper knowledge of WWII and had the opportunity to explore a variety of aviation industry machinery. Pupils and staff were particularly amazed by the two planes that travelled at a whopping 2000kph, breaking the sound barrier.
