Ski Trip update day 5

We have crammed so much in today! It started with a typical French breakfast as we had choc au pains and croissants delivered from the bakery. We then visited the farmers market in and practiced our French speaking skills by trying their produce. We had a ski lesson which saw the blue group on the jump park showing incredible bravery to put their ski skills they have learnt this week to the test over obstacles. The staff had fun trying the jumps and boxes too. The Year 11 pupils were reunited with Reggie the ski instructor from Zig Zag who taught them last year. They yellow group have progressed so much, they took the Chariande Express to the top of the mountain to do two runs from the summit. Firstly down the blue run named Dahu, which the staff did alongside them and then they did a red run down Marmottes - a fantastic accomplishment for the group as it was a test of their undoubted ski skills. In the evening we collected pizzas and then had a film night. A truly brilliant day full of opportunities taken by our pupils.
