“Students and staff at Swanwick School and Sports College came together on Friday 5th May in celebration of the coronation of King Charles III. Festivities began with Mr Bradley providing an Assembly on the King Charles’s that we have had in British History and looking at King Charles III ascension to the throne. Students were amazed at the props that Mr Bradley brought to the assembly which included furniture from King Charles II period. Students were able to choose an afternoon activity to highlight the event and traditional British pastimes such as Croquet, Bowls, Scone Baking, Puppet shows, Building London Landmarks, Scone Baking, Flag Making and Music and Dance took place. All members of our Swanwick School and Sports College community met in the school hall for a good old fashioned knees up and street party where Afternoon Tea was served to all.”
School opens to pupils on Friday 6th September. Have a lovely summer!
