ASDAN Qualification Opportunity

KS4 Nurture pupils were given the opportunity as part of their ASDAN qualification to meet a Ice Cream vendor at SSSC where they could practice their budgeting and interpersonal skills they have been working on this half term.  One pupil expressed a keen interest in becoming an ice cream vendor through discussion in their Careers lessons and so a real-life opportunity was arranged. 

Having further explored budgeting, essential and non-essential goods, collecting and representing data regarding favourite ice cream flavours, all of KS4 Nurture took responsibility for ordering an ice cream within a set budget that were served by their classmate, kindly supported by Emma's ice cream van.
