GCSE Geography Fieldwork

GCSE Geography Fieldwork

Out GCSE geography students recently travelled to the River Erewash to study the middle part of the river for their course. Students were able to see the processes within a meander, the rivers floodplain and the tributaries feeding the main river channel. As part of the fieldwork requirements of their course students took measurements of the depth and speed of the river under instruction from Mr Parry. Luckily, there was nice weather and the only thing to get wet was our wellies!
