During Life Skill sessions, Nurture 4 children have been preparing for a journey to Alfreton, via public transport. Children mapped out local bus routes and studied bus timetables to plan their visit. They independently used their bus passes or paid for their bus tickets before enjoying the bus journey to the chosen destination.
In Alfreton, children continued to use their money skills to pay for a preferred drink at a café and then waited patiently for the return bus back to the bus stop next to school. Children used the learning heroes: Bravery, communication and independent well to make it a successful trip out altogether.
